Throughout the month of April there have been opportunities for you and your family to support Home Ties Child Care by dining at one of our local restaurants. There are still two dates available for you to come out and show your support!
- On Tuesday, April 19th, dine at HuHot between 5pm and 8pm (proceeds come from all sales)
- On Saturday, April 30th, bring the family to Z'mariks. ($1 donated for each kids meal)
Proceeds will be donated to Home Ties for the benefit of children living in low income and crisis situations in Iowa City.
About Home Ties
Home ties helps families in crisis by providing quality, short term child care. Homeless families, as well as those participating in MECCA, Community Mental Health Programs, or other assistance programs, are eligible to receive free child care so that they can search for housing, search and interview for work, and continue with high school coursework.
