The annual ICJSL Solstice Stride 5K race and youth fun run will be Saturday, June 19, 2010.
5:00pm - Solstice Sprint (Ages 8 & under)
5:30pm - 5k Run/Walk

Entry Fees
$10 per child (13 and under)
$20 per adult (Race day registration for adults $25)
$45 per family

All registrations include a Solstice Stride T-shirt, if received by the deadline. 5K Race Divisions: 13 & Under; 14-18; 19-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50+. Food and activities will be available before, during, and after the races!

Hi, thanks for putting on this event. Even though I had a bad running day myself, it the event was fun. Having the kids sprint and do the crab race was very heartening.
However, did the 5K with my Garmin GPS, and it measured out the 5K as ending on 5th St west of the park. The route was about half a mile too long. I mapped out an alternate route that is pretty much exactly the same, but if you turn left at 20th Ave down to 5th St instead of going all the way to 21st Ave, the circuit from the shelter back to the shelter one time is right at 2.5K. So you could start where the finish line was at, run that route twice and end up right at 5K.
